My favorite holiday is coming...get out your wizard costumes...

and wash away the smell of mothballs.

I love Halloween. I dressed up all the way through highschool in elaborate all hallow's eve garb and went trick or treating. Now - not only do I get to dress myself -- but I also get to dress my short people. I have just completed the most incredible fairy princess costume that ever was - or will be. Now onto the Pirates of the Caribbean costume my son wants... me thinks I might be a pirate too.

Anyhoo - for those of you without kids here are some ideas for your dogs and stuff.... (thanks for the inspiration Amy)

Ohh, the three headed dog is really cute...and really creepy if someone hasn't read H.P. - can you imagine some little kid coming to your door with a three headed dog before H.P.? You would have marked him down on the mental "Watch closely and notice if any small animals are missing" list. Still, tres' cute.

I loooove halloween. Next year, when I'm not pregnant, we have to go to a Halloween bash ok Liz? Or hold one. Either way.

See, we don't really do halloween here in the UK which is a shame. It's just something for kids.

My wife, who's american, convinced us to do the whole fancy dress thing and we had a great time. More people here should do it.

Although what the party has got to do with the original meaning of the festival I don't know. Just an excuse for a piss up I guess.

Good idea Kath - let's rent a hall or something. (Can we do a Harry Potter theme - or is that just too lame)

Stef - definately a reason to get drunk. You should start a trend. It'll catch on. Just do it every year and get more people to join you.

Capt - as you wish

Yoga - yeah, me too

pink - I know. Look how dejected the dog looks in that picture. It's like he knows he looks like a dork.

Slyde - notice the lack of response?

There is no response to Slyde. I looked as un-silly as possible that time I dressed as the Wizard.

Honestly.

There is only one way to prove that Earl...

Well, I looked for it but I couldn't find the pic of me as a wizard.

I did find one from the next year where I was this evil jester/crow thingie.

Yeah, ya can't see that one either, ok?
