Ow. Wimper.

I joined up at the gym again. NOT a new year resolution... nope... just missed the gym. (Who "misses" the gym?) Here's the trouble - it's been six months since I've been in a gym but for some reason I just figured I could start up where I left off. Big mistake. I am so sore today. I feel like someone beat me with a bag of oranges. Yes, I said bag of oranges.

Anyways, not the smartest idea I've had recently. I can very nearly say that I am unable to walk - or lift my coat up to put it on. In fact - lifting a sandwich very nearly made me cry.

I hope all of you had a splendiferous (is that a word?) New Year's eve celebration - and that everyone has gotten over the hangover that no doubt followed the festivities. I would be interested in knowing what - if any - resolutions my blogfriends made. I personally am not a big beleiver in the whole resolution thing. But to anyone who commits to something and does it - well, I applaude you.

Happy 2007!

I like the fact that "oranges(why not?)" came up as a label. You didn't even type that!

I made no resolutions this year.

It's too sad when I break them on the 2nd or 3rd of January.

January 1st is just another day, and life is a constant round of attempted self-improvement and growth... So I don't beat myself up about resolutions either. Load of old arse.

And if you knew me in person Liz, you would see how much I genuinely miss the gym when I can't go. I get very, very grumpy indeed. Especially if I can't run as well. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

not one for resolutions, myself. If there is something i plan on doing, i just do it without waiting for all that new years resolution garbage....

I don't think I've ever beating a bag of oranges. I made resolutions. Here's to not keeping the diet one.

Well. It may seem as though I'm resolving to loose weight but I'm not. I just had a baby so ofcourse I'd like to loose weight. No crappy dieting though. I'm going the old fashioned route of orange flogging. Are you free tomorrow?

Liz, I know EXACTLY how you feel! When I first started the gym, I could not move! I couldn't eve straighten my arms down to my sides. or straighten my legs out. I had to get the cultchie to do everything for me! I am starting to kinda miss the gym again now, after quitting too about 6 months ago...but the thought of the being beaten up by a bag of oranges again scares the shite out of me.
