I love peanut butter. I may have mentioned this before. But I was just thinking about it since part of my lunch consists of yummy red delicious apple cubes that I am dipping in the lovely stuff. I also love Brazil nuts - but damn are they high in fat. Holy cow. I am going to eat 9 of them - that roughly translates to 300 calories. YIKES. But damn are they yummy.

Easter weekend approachith. I have yet to go and buy scads of candy. I may have to scale back this year... there is still some in the pantry from last year. Kids and sugar = mommy and headache. Besides - I steal half of it and eat it. (Remember bikini countdown....74 days to go.) Luckily between now and then there is only one big family dinner at Grandma's house - so I won't have to watch greedily while everyone else gets to eat the scalloped tatoes cept the once. But I might just have to allow myself this one little insanely high caloric treat (or two if you count the Brazil nuts...). Otherwise I might make my family members uncomfortable when I watch them eating them and start crying.

This has been all about food. I need to talk about something else... ho hum...

Oh - I know!

Spring is coming - I know this for sure since the tulips have ignored the snow and are coming up anyways. ***JOY*** I was out there with a hairdryer helping them along. (The people next door were driving by and I pretended to have a radar gun... LOL - they have taken to running and hiding when they see me now...)

Long extension cord for that hair dryer, eh? ;)

Oh, and talk Kat down from the ledge please. She's talking crazy talk over at her blog.

Outdoor plugs - also the tulips are in the garden about a foot from the house. ;-)

Re: Crazy Kat - I'm working on it.

Mmmmm.....peanut butter. Have you tried those peanut butter and chocolate eggs by Reese's? They are soooo good. I swear I am not trying to sabotage your diet, I'm reallly not;)

When my neighbors drive by, I pretend to have a real gun LOL...I'm joking (or am I?).

Yay for Spring! Doesn't your Spring last about as long as our Winters? A couple of weeks?:)

sprinkle - mmmmm - peanut butter and chocolate. My fave. But I only allow it at Christmas.... don't worry - it's not so much a diet as a lifestyle so there's really no way to sabotage it. I've accepted that I just don't get to eat stuff like that and still fit into these pants... sigh. Most days it's totally worth it ;-) Some days it sucks.

Soooo, I take it your neighbors are not your favorite people? (or are they?)

Yeah, Spring doesn't last too long... but then comes summer. We basically have two seasons; searing hot w/ humidity and freezing cold with snow. It's great. I need to relocate somewhere a little south of here - to even it all out ;-)

You should try it on apples...

Oh Elizabeth, I sooooo love ♥ Peanut Butter ♥. It's made me 188cm and broad shouldered and was the first "meal" I could make for myself.

BUT! There is something even more fab than Peanut Butter - go and buy, beg, borrow or steal ♥♥ Cashew Nut Butter ♥♥. It is just the most fantastic luxurious scrummy velvety taste EVER EVER EVER! It's like Peanut Butter with a six pack and a rolled sock down the front. See if they have it down the health food shop. Do it!

Even Cook with it

{Sorry, I seem to be drooling at the thought!}

Bobo!!! I bet you could use it in place of recipes that normally use peanut butter!! What fun! I will have to try it! Thanks ;-)

kaylee - I'm sorry to hear you aren't doing that well - but I am glad to hear that one of the tumours has been removed! **hooray** One down!!! Keep your cute little chin up sweetheart.

mmm i love peanut butter too, but not the crunchy kind. i like skippy creamy. the low fat one is great. it's not entirely guilt free, but its far superior to fake chocolate and sweet tofu.

sweet tofu?!! Good god that sounds nightmare-ish... yikes.
