Went to Kensington Market in Toronto yesterday. Love the smells in the market - all the fresh produce and spices. Wandered around China town - bought some Chinese PJs for the kiddies. Went to this fantastic place for Thai food and then bought a dreamy jacket from Lululemon on Queen Street. Fabulous day.

Toronto is seriously one of the best cities in the world to people watch. Crazies are everywhere. And they don't know that you know that they don't know that they happen to be crazy, you know? -- and that makes it much more fun.

Anyways - I'll leave you with this...I learned the art of Chinese handwriting.

I'm jealous. I haven't been there in years :o(
I actually quite miss living in downtown TO. Remember? I was kitty corner to St. Lawrence Market. Loved going over there on a Sunday morning to have fresh bagels with lox and cream cheese before some shopping. And directly across the street, every weekend, there was a flea market. Too bad my suicidal, alcoholic roommate wasn't more fun...I might have stayed in the T. a little longer.

I never found Toronto to be that crazy when I was there... Meh. Then again I've lived in Liverpool and that place only has a few people in it who aren't crazy!

Good china town though but not as good as Vancouver's. Now that rocks!

Go to Toronto for Caribana and then you have drive/fly up to see old Quebec (just don't talk to any of the people and you will continue to think Canadians are nice) then drive out East and have Lobster and hang out with the people - they are the sweetest on planet earth. Lastly - visit BC. Go to the Island if you get the chance - or camping. And whatever you do make sure you go hiking somewhere really cool - there's a tonne of spots.
